BELGIUM
+ ABOUT
"Funny that I want to give here a description about the country where I am born and spend some of my time. Mostly I describe Belgium as follows." - Thierry Hanan Scheers.
FlandersIn the north you have Flanders, the people speaks Dutch and the landscape is almost everywher quite flat. In Flanders there are some very beautiful historic cities that are worth visiting. Such as Antwerp, Ghent and Bruges.
|
Wallonia and East BelgiumIn the south you have Wallonia, the people speaks French and in the east of Wallonia they speaks German. In Wallonia are the mountains (rather high hills) with lots of nature, including the Ardennes and High Fens.
BrusselsIn the middle of Belgium you have Brussels: the capital of Belgium and Europe - bilingual: Dutch and French - with the small but world famous little guy 'Manneken Pis'.
