DENMARK
+ ABOUT
Denmark is the most southern country in Scandinavia in Northern Europe. Denmark covers most of the peninsula of Jutland and about 405 islands, of which Zealand, Funen, Lolland, Falster, Langeland, Als, Møn, Bornholm and Amager are the most important.
LowlandAs part of the European Plain, the country consists almost entirely of lowland. Several remarkable bridges connect the Danish islands, Jutland and Sweden and there are several theme parks such as Legoland in Billund and some zoos.

CopenhagenThere are also many museums in the capital city Copenhagen. The city is for a fifth of the Danish population their hometown. Copenhagen is large enough for excellent shopping, cultural and entertainment venues, but still small enough to be cozy, safe and easy to explore the city. With only the narrow Øresund strait that separates Copenhagen from Sweden (and Malmö) is Copenhagen culturally and historically a bridge between the European mainland and Scandinavia.
Greenland and the Faroe Islands also belong to the Danish kingdom.
