One of the nice places to find halal food is the Night Bazaar. This bustling market is one of Chiang Mai's biggest tourist spots and offers a few of halal food stalls serving up quick bites and full meals. Try the mouth-watering kebabs, curries, and noodles!
Every Sunday, head to Tha Phae Walking Street for a lively market experience. Browse for souvenirs, shop for clothes, and sample the local street food, including halal options. With live music, a festive atmosphere, and a crowd of locals and tourists, it's an experience not to be missed.

For a sit-down meal, check out the budget-friendly restaurant 'Rice and Noodles' in the Loi Kroh Road. This relaxed local eatery serves up authentic Thai dishes like green and red curry, pad Thai, tom yam, and khao soi. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious lunch and take a break from the bustling streets.
If you're on the go, there are several of small food stalls and street vendors throughout Chiang Mai serving halal food, althought you have to search a little bit. Just be sure to double-check with the vendor or restaurant to confirm that the food is halal. You can also find some vegetarian street foods, such as lumpia and the world-famous sticky rice mango.

In conclusion, Chiang Mai offers a range of halal food options, making it a nice destination for Muslim travellers looking to experience the local cuisine. We ourselves found most of the dishes a bit too sweet and too slightly spicy. We are also used to Indonesian spicy chili sauce. But that's personal taste. Whether you're in the mood for street food or a sit-down meal, you're sure to find something that suits your taste buds in this vibrant city.
