ME Active - Malta is one of the world's smallest and most densely populated countries and is a popular tourist destination with its warm climate, and numerous architectural and historical monuments.
For the one who don't have Instagram, the pictures of my latest trip to Malta are also on this website now. In 8 pictures I show you my trip to Malta with my own remarkable view.
1. Imgiebah Beach
It's the second time this year I come to Malta. I love to hike in this little country. I'm always amazed of the beauty of the nature here.
2. Selmun
On my first hiking day in Malta I just did 15 kilometre (9.3 mile). Because around lunch I spend some time on a little desolated beach. But the short hike brought me to lovely places. This picture I shot close to Selmun, between Mistra Bay and Imgiebah Bay.
3. L-Armier
The stunning natural arch Marks & Dukes Window. It's a great hidden gem and they told me that not so many people know about it.
4. Comino
On my second hiking day I went to Comino, the much smaller neighbour island from Malta. It's just 3.5 square kilometre (2.2 square mile) in area, but I could hike for some 9 kilometre (5.6 mile). The most famous spot of the island is the Blue Lagoon with the transparant and cyan waters.
5. Comino
The stunning island Comino with a breathtaking view at the Crystal Lagoon. In the background you can discover also the Saint Mary's Tower from 1618, the most visible structure on the island.
6. Għajn Tuffieħa Bay
The thirth hiking day I went to the northwest side of Malta. From all the places I came already in Malta, is this the most beautiful part I saw. Just sitting down and enjoying from the view at Għajn Tuffieħa Bay, with one of the stunning beaches from the north, bring already so much peace and freedom.
7. Wied il-Ä nejna
I can call this one of the wonders of nature. If there is a place what has to be on the bucket list of every hiker who comes to Malta, it has to be surely this place.
8. Valletta
Malta has so much more beauty than just nature. Valletta, the capital of this small country, is a little jewel. The City of Valletta was officially recognised as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1980. Look at this street: Republic Street or in Maltese Triq Ir-Repubblika. It's just amazing.
