ME News - More families are travelling to South Africa these days. Recently, you have a lot more paperwork when you travel to South Africa with children. The South African government has tightened regulations for travel to their country on the southern tip of Africa. Many families are not informed and are returned at the airport. From now on your children must have a Kids-ID and a birth certificate that is not older than three months and is drawn up in English. If you are a parent travelling alone with children, the other parent must give written permission for this; that document must also be legalized by your government.
