9/9/2015 MUSEUM BROTHERS GRIMM IN GERMANYME News - A museum 'Grimmwelt Kassel' about the world of the brothers Grimm brothers opened in Kassel in Germany. The museum offers an overview of the creation and collection of their fantastic fairy tales. The brothers Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm are among the most important German fairytale collectors. However, they also made an important contribution to German linguistics and literary studies, historiography, knowledge of ancient myths and they even wrote political works. You can see all these different aspects in the museum. There is also the authentic version of their famous fairy-tale book on display, which became the most widely read and widely distributed book in German cultural history. The museum of course also extensively shows the life of these two famous brothers, but there is also much attention for the work of the painting brother, Ludwig Emil Grimm, who has made a name for himself as a romantic draftsman and etcher.
