ME Active - The route wich opened in the summer from 2015, runs from Munich in Germany, over Innsbruck in Austria, to Venice in Italy and takes the cyclist among other things through the Alps and the Dolemites. The 560 kilometre (350 mile) long-distance cycle trail Munich Venice closes the gap in Alpine crossings in the eastern Alps. And connects Germany’s southern-most metropolis with Italy’s lagoon pearl at the Adriatic. Between them lie spectacular landscapes and tracks for all bicycled connoisseurs. __ "Stunning tourist regions and romantic towns." The route is travelled on existing bicycle roads, such as parts of the beautiful Innradweg. Added are further bicycle routes and small by-roads, not just through metropolises like Munich, Innsbruck and Venice. Stunning tourist regions and romantic towns, including Bad Tölz, Schwaz, Brixen and Treviso, can be experienced with all senses. UNESCO |
