Beautiful northern lights in Iceland

INSPIRING.VIDEO - One of the most beautiful phenomena on earth remains the northern lights. Both the northern lights and Iceland are on my bucket list.

The northern light is a light phenomenon that occurs when large amounts of charged sun particles are thrown into the universe and collide with the atoms in our atmosphere.​ The best chance of observing this beautiful phenomenon is in the winter and in high-latitude areas such as Iceland, Scandinavia, Greenland or Alaska.

On the other side of our earth you can discover the southern light. Often visible from Australia. Both are called the polar lights.
